IRGC Commander: Israel’s Security Very Vulnerable
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The security of the Zionist regime of Israel is at a low ebb and even the modern missile shields cannot fully protect it from missiles coming from the besieged Gaza enclave, lieutenant commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force said on Saturday.
“Today missiles weighing a few tons are launched against the capital of the Zionist regime, Tel Aviv, from the besieged Gaza Strip despite the stationing of an iron dome missile defense system, something that has forced the residents and officials of this forged regime to take refuge in shelters,” Brigadier General Esmail Qa’ani said at a gathering of IRGC veterans.
He pointed to Iran's growing influence in the region and said that despite the presence of a number of US warships in the Persian Gulf, “the Islamic Iran is mightily and wisely playing roles both in the region and at the global stage, and is the safest and most secure country compared to other countries -- even those supported by the US.”
Several Iranian officials, including the Iranian Police Chief Brigadier General Esmail Ahmadi Moqaddam, have in recent months praised the exemplary and unique security and stability of the Islamic Republic.
Ahmadi Moqaddam said on October 11 that the level of security inside the country is miraculously high and explained that such a situation materialized after successful strategies for border security.
Iran’s minister of intelligence, too, praised the high level of security in the country on August 23, and described Iran as a “safe island” in the world.
Seyed Mahmoud Alawi lauded the Iranian intelligence personnel for their constant efforts to provide the country with high levels of security, and said, “Iran has turned into a safe island in the world.”
