Brave Iran Earns First Point in FIVB World League
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran lost to Brazil 3-2 (25-23, 28-30, 26-28, 25-23, 15-13) in the third week of the 2014 FIVB World League.
On Friday, the Iranian outfit was defeated by nine-time World League winner in Sao Paulo in Pool A but earned one point from three matches in the current tournament.
Iran had lost to Italy twice last week.
Brazil’s Santos Junior Sidnei Dos was the match's top scorer with 16 points. Shahram Mahmoudi of Iran was top scorer with 22 points.
