Al-Qassam Brigades: 8 More Israeli Soldiers Killed
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The al-Qassam Brigades said on Thursday that 8 more Israelis have been killed in operations carried out by Palestinian resistance forces in the Gaza Strip.
The al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, said its fighters killed the Israeli troops after infiltrating into the Israeli fronts east of al-Tofah district in Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian fighters also said that during the operation an infantry vehicle belonging to the Israeli army has been destroyed.
The Israeli military says so far 32 military personnel have been killed including 13 forces from the Golani Brigade (one of the most highly decorated infantry units in the Israeli army) but the Palestinian resistance groups say the losses are much higher.
Palestinian fighters also say they have captured the soldier, the first since the release of Gilad Shalit in 2011. But the Israeli army says the missing soldier is presumed dead.
