Asian Para Games: Iran's Javeline Thrower Hosseini Earns Gold
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Erfan Hosseini won the gold medal in the Men's javelin throw F12–13 on Sunday.
Hosseini finished in first place with a throw of 59:97 meters.
Sajad Nikparast also from Iran won the silver with 56:79 meters.
Chinese thrower came third in the class.
2014 Asian Para Games are underway in Incheon, South Korea from October 18 to 24. The games feature around 5,000 athletes competing across 23 sports.
