Iran’s Hamed Haddadi on Kia Sorento Radar
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Filipino basketball team Kia Sorento showed interest in signing Iran's center Hamed Haddadi as the team's import for their upcoming PBA Commissioner's Cup campaign.
Haddadi is currently playing for the Qingdao Eagles in the Chinese Basketball Association.
The 7-foot-2 center led Iran to the 2013 FIBA Asia Men’s Championship held in Manila, the Philippines.
Haddadi played a total of six seasons in the NBA, five with the Memphis Grizzlies and one with Phoenix Suns, Inquirer.net wrote.
“We have e-mailed Haddadi’s agent expressing our intent. The agent said we can talk to him directly,” said Kia assistant coach Glenn Capacio.
