Ghoochannejhad Joins Al-Wakrah Football Team
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian national football team's international striker Reza Ghoochannejhad joined Al-Wakrah of Qatar on Monday.
The 27-year-old striker has joined the Qatari football club on loan from Charlton Athletic on a one-year contract.
In August 2014, Ghoochannejhad joined Al-Kuwait on a season-long loan deal. He parted company with the Kuwaiti club in early February.
The Iranian forward was a member of Team Melli in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup and scored two vital goals against the UAE and Iraq.
