Iran Wants to Repeat USA’s Victories against Poland: Slobodan Kovac
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian national volleyball team's coach Slobodan Kovac said they want to repeat their victories against the US in two matches against Poland.
Iran will meet powerhouse Poland in Tehran’s Azadi Hall on Friday and Sunday in Week 7 of the FIVB World League.
“Iran has two difficult matches against Poland and we will do our best to play as good as we were playing against the USA,” Kovac said in the pre-match news conference.
“We want to win two matchs and I think it’s possible with the help of our supporters,” the Serbian coach added.
USA leads Pool B with 17 points, while Iran is in third place with 13 points. Poland is second with 16 points and Russia has just two points.
