Greco-Roman World Championships: Iran’s Rezaei Claims Silver
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Ghasem Rezaei of Iran won a silver medal at the Greco-Roman World Championships on Tuesday.
The Iranian wrestler lost to Artur Aleksanyan from Armenia 3-0 in the 98kg.
Bronze medal went to Islam Magomedov from Russia and Ukraine’s Dimitriy Timchenko.
The competitions continue Tuesday. The 2015 World Wrestling Championships started on September 7 in Las Vegas, NV and will finish on September 12.
This is the first time in 12 years USA is hosting the World Championships.
