Iran Ready for Lightning Reaction to Any Military Action: IRGC Officer
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – IRGC Navy Commander Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi said Iran knows about the US vulnerabilities more than any other country does, stressing that any hostile moves against the Islamic Republic will be followed by Iran’s rapid and firm response.
Iran’s military preparedness and capabilities stand at such a high level that the country’s forces will respond to any hostile action in a lightning, rapid and crushing manner, the commander said in a gathering of foreign military attachés in Tehran.
Iran’s knowledge of the US weak points exceeds that of all other countries, he added, noting that American officials are also aware that any action against Iran will cost them dearly.
Rear Admiral Fadavi then stressed that commanding officers of US aircraft carriers in the Persian Gulf have very well felt the power of Iran and the presence of the IRGC naval forces across the water body.
Earlier in August, IRGC Commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said his forces are prepared to counter any foreign threat by having advanced technologies in their possession.
“Today, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has immense power, and, relying on the people and faith (in God), and possessing very advanced technologies, is ready to counter any foreign threat,” the top general said.
