QOM (Tasnim) – The community of Shiite Muslims, who are of Iraqi origin and have resided in Iran’s holy city of Qom, carry torches on three nights in the lunar calendar month of Muharram to perform mourning rites in commemoration of Imam Hussein (PBUH).
