Iran, Guinea to Boost Cooperation in Women Affairs


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran and Guinea agreed on cooperation in women’s affairs in a meeting between Iranian ambassador to Conakry and Guinea’s minister of social affairs and female promotion on Sunday.

The Iranian Ambassador Khalil Sadati Amiri in his meeting with the Guinean Minister Jaka Jakita explored avenues for promotion of women’s role and positions in the two countries.

The Iranian envoy elaborated on women’s role in nurturing the children, social management, and cultural, social, and economic development, and stated, “The Islamic Republic of Iran with its rich experiences in training women and creating jobs for them is ready to share them (experiences) with Guinea.”

The Guinean minister, too, lauded her country’s long lasting and excellent ties with Iran, referred to the success of the Iranian women on internal and international scenes, and asked for accessing Iran’s experience in improving the education level of Guinean girls and women.
