Iran to Play Friendlies with Belarus, Montenegro


TEHRAN (Tasnim)– Iran's national football team is scheduled to play two friendly matches against Belarus and Montenegro during a camp ahead of the 2014 World Cup.

According to Iran Football Federation (IFF), Carlos Queiroz’s men will play Belarus on May 18. Iran is also scheduled to face Montenegro on May 26.

The place of the camp is yet to be announced.

Iran will likely play either South Africa or Angola in Tehran on May 31.

The Iranian football team has been grouped with Argentina, Nigeria and Bosnia and Herzegovina in Group F of the 2014 World Cup.

Iran will play Nigeria in Curitiba on June 16.
