Iran’s Non-Oil Exports Top $11.8bln in 3 Months


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The volume of Iran’s non-oil exports during the spring of this year witnessed a 20.53% increase compared to last year, Iran's Customs Office announced on Monday.

According to a report published by Iran's Customs Office, the total value of the country’s non-oil exports and imports during the period increased by $5.274bln, reaching $24.245bln.

The value of non-oil exports hit $11.859bln and imports increased by $12.386bln, the report said.

The volume of non-oil exports and imports in the 3-month period has risen by 20.53% and 35.63% respectively, compared to last year, the report added.

Liquefied propane, methanol, and tar are among the main items exported during the mentioned period.

According to the report, China, Iraq, the United Arabic Emirates, Afghanistan and Turkey were among the top importers of the Iranian non-oil products.
