Asia Para Games: Mehran Hosseini Bags Gold
INCHEON, South Korea (Tasnim) – Iran’s Mehran Hosseini finished in the first place at the Men's Discus Throw - F35/36 in the 2014 Asia Para Games on Thursday.
Hosseini won the gold with a throw of 40.14 meters.
Mohammed Saeed Sultan Obaid Al Kaabi from UAE came second with 36.34 meters.
Iraqi Murtadha Ali Ahmed Al Bayati claimed the bronze medal with 37.77 meters.
The medal grabbed by Hosseini, brings to 21 the number of gold medals won by the Iranian athletes in the games so far.
Vahid Keshtkar claimed a gold medal in the men's 400 m freestyle S13.
Erfan Hosseini won the gold medal in the men's javelin throw F12–13.
Sareh Javanmardi earned the gold medal in the Mixed 50 meter pistol SH1.
