Astana Wins Asian Water Polo Clubs Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Kazakhstan’s Astana defeated Asia Zarin Madan from Iran to win the 10th edition of the Asian Water Polo Clubs Championship on Saturday.
Astana defeated Asia Zarin Madan 13-6 at the International Swimming Pool of Shiroudi Sport Complex in Tehran.
Earlier in the day, Iran’s Naft Omidiyeh lost to Al-Qadisiyah of Saudi Arabia 16-14 in the bronze medal match.
The 2014 Asian Water Polo Clubs Championship brought eight teams together.
