FIVB Praises Iranian Setter Saeid Marouf
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (International Federation of Volleyball) hailed Zenit Kazan Iranian setter Saeid Marouf.
Marouf helped Zenit Kazan to victory on his debut in the 2015 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League, where the Russian outfit defeated VfB Friedrichshafen 3-0.
The Russian club's new Iranian recruit was voted the leg's best player, fivb.org wrote.
Marouf is hailed as the driving force behind Iran's recent rise to prominence.
The Iranians finished in the top four at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball World League and claimed sixth place at the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship Poland 2014.
