We Hope to Defeat Iran's Persepolis 2-0, Al Hilal Coach Donis Says
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal football team head coach Giorgos Donis said they hope to beat Iran's Persepolis 2-0 to secure a place in the AFC Champions League Round of Eight.
Al Hilal suffered a late 1-0 defeat to Persepolis in Tehran in first leg.
The Saudi Arabia’s giant will host Persepolis Tuesday night in Riyadh’s King Fahad Stadium.
“We hope to beat Persepolis 2-0 to book a place in the next round. In this match, beating Persepolis is our priority,” Donis said.
“I am happy because Thiago Neves can play after two months; however he has not trained enough,” Al Hilal coach added.
“In the first leg, we played very well and created several chances but lacked the cutting edge. I hope it will not be repeated one again,” Giorgos Donis concluded.
