FM to Brief Iranian MPs on Nuclear Conclusion

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will go to the parliament within the next few days to provide lawmakers with a detailed account of the nuclear talks between Tehran and world powers that concluded with a final document.

The top Iranian diplomat, who led the country's team of negotiators, will attend the parliamentary session at the invitation of the lawmakers.

At the beginning of an open session of the legislation on Wednesday, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani praised the team of nuclear negotiators for their efforts in the diplomatic talks with the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany).

Iran and the Group 5+1 (also known as the P5+1 or E3+3) concluded more than two weeks of intensive talks over Tehran's nuclear program in Vienna on July 14.

The negotiating parties reached a conclusion over the text of a comprehensive 159-page deal on the nuclear issue after 22 months of talks.
