Iran’s Wrestler Mohammadian Wins Gold Medal at Stepan Sargsyan Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian freestyle wrestler Mohammad Hossein Mohammadian claimed a gold medal at 97kg in the Stepan Sargsyan Cup on Saturday.
Mohammadian defeated Pavlo Oliynyk from Ukraine 2-1 in the final match and won the gold medal.
Iran’s Behnam Ehsanpour also seized a bronze medal at 65kg.
Wrestling Federation of Armenia will award money prizes for each weight category (1st place –$3000, 2nd place – $2000, 3rd place – $1000) and for the coach of the winner $500, as well as Cups, Diplomas and medals.
