Iran’s Hajsafi on Verge of Joining Bochum
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian international winger Ehsan Hajsafi is set to join VfL Bochum in the 2. Bundesliga.
The Iranian 25-year-old player traveled to Germany on Wednesday to undergo medical examination.
“I’ve reached an initial agreement with German club. I need to complete a medical test and participate in their training for one week,” Hajsafi said.
Hajsafi, who currently plays for Iran’s Sepahan, is able to play as left back, defensive midfielder, playmaker and winger.
In 2009, Hajsafi was selected by Goal.com as the most promising player in Asian football.
Hajsafi has represented Iran at the 2011 AFC Asian Cup, 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.
