Czech FM Calls for Closer Trade Cooperation with Iran

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Visiting Czech Foreign Minister Lubomir Zaoralek stressed the need for efforts to boost cooperation between Tehran and Prague in diverse economic fields.

In a Sunday meeting with the chairman and members of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines (ICCIM) in Tehran, Zaoralek praised the nuclear agreement recently reached between Iran and six world powers.

“We are glad that Iran has reached the nuclear deal”, he said, adding that after the removal of anti-Iran sanctions early next year, Iran and Czech can boost cooperation in various spheres.

The top diplomat, who heads a high-ranking business delegation in his official visit to Iran, went on to say that his country believes the Islamic Republic has reliable merchants and investors for mutual cooperation.

He further emphasized that the two countries can establish close cooperation in the fields of transportation and pharmaceutical industry.

The visit comes as part of a new wave of renewed interest in ties with Iran after Tehran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany) on July 14 reached a conclusion over the text of a comprehensive 159-page deal on Tehran's nuclear program.

The comprehensive nuclear deal between Iran and the six powers would terminate all nuclear-related sanctions imposed on Iran after coming into force.

Experts believe that Iran’s economic growth would rise remarkably after the final nuclear deal takes effect.
