Dutch Trade Delegation to Visit Iran in Coming Months
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Head of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPO) Valiollah Afkhami Rad announced that a high-ranking delegation from the Netherlands will pay an official visit to Iran in the coming months to further boost the economic ties between the two countries.
Speaking in a meeting in Tehran with the visiting director general of foreign economic affairs of the Dutch foreign ministry, Marten van den Berg, Afkhami Rad emphasized the record of bilateral relations is indicative of the fact that grounds are set for promotion of cooperation.
“Dutch companies can invest in our country and we would welcome it,” he said, adding that the presence of Dutch companies in the Iranian market is in the interest of both countries.
Pointing to the upcoming visit of a Dutch economic delegation to Iran, Afkhami Rad said the trip will be made in the Iranian month of Azar (November 22 – December 21).
The remarks come against the backdrop of a new wave of renewed interest in ties with Iran after Tehran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany) on July 14 reached a conclusion over the text of a comprehensive 159-page deal on Tehran's nuclear program.
The comprehensive nuclear deal between Iran and the six powers would terminate all nuclear-related sanctions imposed on Iran after coming into force.
Experts believe that Iran’s economic growth would rise remarkably after the final nuclear deal takes effect.
