Iranian Delegation Heads to Brussels


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An Iranian parliamentary delegation departed Tehran on Monday morning to pay an official visit to the Belgian capital, Brussels.

Abbas Ali Mansouri Arani, the head of Iran-Belgium parliamentary friendship group, is leading the 5 strong delegation.

Mansouri Arani is accompanied by Hamed Qadermazi, Nader Fereydooni, Farhad Bashiri, Mohammad Ali Madadi and other members of the parliamentary group.

The delegation's visit to Brussels came at the invitation of Dirk van Doremalen, the head of Belgium-Iran parliamentary friendship group.

During their stay in Brussels, the Iranian parliamentary officials will meet with Belgium’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders and heads of the country's parliaments to discuss a number of different issues, including promotion of parliamentary cooperation, facilitating and expediting economic and energy relations, and regional and international issues.
