Paykan to Reprsent Iran at FIVB Volleyball Club World Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s seven-time champion Paykan will travel to Brazil on Saturday to take part at the 2015 edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship.
The event will take place in Betim, Brazil from October 27 to 31, with some of the world’s best teams battling it out for the gold medal.
The 11th edition of the Men’s Club World Championship will see six of the world’s top clubs.
The competition will take place at the Multisport Fitness Divine.
Paykan has been drawn in Pool B along with Al-Ahly Sporting Club of Egypt and UPCN San Juan of Argentina, while host Sada Cruzeiro has been pitted against Zenit Kazan of Russia and Arecibo Capitanes Club of Puerto Rico in Pool A.
The Iranian team will open the campaign with a match against Al-Ahly on October 27 and play UPCN San Juan two days later.
