Asian Para Archery Championships: Nemati Seizes Second Gold


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Zahra Nemati who had claimed a gold medal on Saturday at the Para CQT Asia World Archery Asia, claimed one more gold in the Asian Para Archery Championships.

The Iranian archer, who booked a place in the 2016 Paralympics after earning a gold medal in the women’s individual recurve, snatched a gold medal once again.

She finished in first place with 647  points.

China’s Jinyan Ye finished in second with 598 points. Bronze medal went to another Chinese archer Dandan Lin. 

Iran’s Somajeh Abbaspour also won a silver medal in the women’s compound with 665 points.

Lin Yueshan from China claimed the gold medal with 688 points and Iraqi Basimati Al Murshedi Wurood bagged the bronze medal with 647 points.

In the Compound Open Mixed Team, Iran team consisting of Somajeh Abbaspour and Shahab Reyhani came second with 1331 points after China who came first with 1385 points. Iraqi team finished in third place 1329 points.
