Iran’s Esteghlal Parts Way with Iraqi Midfielder Karrar Jassim


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian popular football club Esteghlal of Tehran has parted company with Iraqi midfielder Karrar Jassim Mohammed Al-Mahmoudi.

The 28-year-old midfielder has had long-time financial problem with the Iranian football team.

The Iraqi international joined Esteghlal in 2014 and played for the team 29 times scoring three goals.

“We’ve reached an agreement with Karrar and parted company with him by mutual consent,” Esteghlal acting president Bahram Afsharzadeh said.
