Hungarian PM Due in Iran Monday
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban plans to pay a two-day visit to Tehran on Monday during which the two countries will sign several agreements.
A group of 120 economic activists, businessmen and officials from the European country’s banks will accompany Orban during his Tehran visit.
The visit would be the first visit of a Hungarian prime minister to the Islamic Republic in the last 27 years.
The two sides are also scheduled to sign 8 agreements and MoUs on expansion of mutual cooperation.
The visit came against the backdrop of a new wave of interest in ties with Iran after Tehran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany) on July 14 reached a conclusion over the text of a comprehensive 159-page deal on Tehran's nuclear program.
The comprehensive nuclear deal between Iran and the six powers would terminate all nuclear-related sanctions imposed on Iran after coming into force.
Experts believe that Iran's economic growth would rise remarkably after the final nuclear deal takes effect.
