James Fetzer: Leader’s Letter Brimmed with Messages of Peace, Justice

“The Supreme Leader's statement to the youth has again offered a vision of peace and justice for the future, which, alas, will almost certainly not be realized in our time,” James Henry Fetzer told Tasnim News on late on Monday.

The following is the full text of the interview:

Q: Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has penned a new letter to the young people of the West. What's your perspective on the message?

A: The Supreme Leader's statement to the youth has again offered a vision of peace and justice for the future, which, alas, will almost certainly not be realized in our time. The Zionist opponents of Islam, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, want wars in the Middle East, especially to advance their quest for a Greater Israel, which will dominate the region from the Tigris-Euprhates to the Nile. Thanks to the decisive stand taken by Vladimir Putin, the pressure being exerted upon the Assad government by ISIS (also known as Daesh) has been lessened and, within a relatively brief span of time, should be virtually eliminated by the Russian forces.

Q: The Leader penned his first letter to the younger generation in the West after gunmen attacked offices of French magazine, Charlie Hebdo, and killed scores of people after it published sacrilegious cartoon of Islam's Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in its January 14 edition. The Leader’s second letter also came in light of the recent terrorist attacks in Paris. Why did the leader choose to directly address the Western youth once again in form of a letter after another terrorist attack?

A: The Supreme Leader wants to inform the young. The attacks in Paris appear to have been staged. In the case of Charlie Hebdo, the car parked on an X marked in the road to make sure the surveillance camera would get the best coverage. The officer on the pavement was shot with impunity, where his head did not explode and there was no blood. (A witness reported observing the police return to the scene "and lay down the blood".) In the case of the multiple, coordinated attacks that have provided a justification for the President to declare martial law, Wikipedia had published an extensive and copiously documented entry about it before it had occurred.

The situation with ISIS reflects perfidy on a scale heretofore unimagined by those who believe in America. It was created by a Defense Intelligence Agency document in 2012 to put pressure on Assad, who was in fact elected by the people of Syria, but where the US media never mentions that fact. We have photos of members of ISIS sporting "US Army" tattoos and a video--hacked from a member of Sen. John McCain's staff--showing the filming of fake beheading videos on a sound stage in Tel Aviv or Hollywood itself. ISIS has been stealing Syrian oil and selling it to Turkey, which has been threatening to retaliate against the Russian forces who are taking out endless streams of oil tankers transporting it across the border.

Q: In his letter, the Leader has stressed that “blind terrorism” was the main cause behind the Paris attacks. Why “blind terrorism”?

A: Would that the United States and Israel stood for the values reflected by this important statement from Iran's Supreme Leader. We in America have government officials who are either bought and sold by powerful corporations or who place the interests of Israel above those of the United States. The recent revelation that Sandy Hook was an elaborate hoax intended to create a cadre of anti-gun lobbyists with seemingly impeccable credentials has led to a ban of the book, NOBODY DIED AT SANDY HOOK (2015), by amazon.com, because it reveals that the Obama administration has employed fakery at home as much as it has employed fakery abroad. Russia and Iran are now providing leadership for the world community. May they prosper and endure!
