Saudis Skilled at Creating Crises: Analyst
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An Egyptian political analyst denounced the Saudi regime for its policy of agitating the situation in the region, saying the kingdom employs extremist groups to create turmoil.
“The Saudis have great capabilities in creating chaos, turmoil and crisis,” Ahmad Rasem al-Nafis told Tasnim in an interview.
He explained that the Al Saud employs a host of extremist groups that are ready to cause tension on Riyadh’s orders.
Pointing to Iran’s self-restraint in reaction to Saudi Arabia’s hostile policies, Nafis urged a harsher response to Riyadh’s conduct, noting that the Al Saud only understands the language of force.
Saudi Arabia has severed ties with Iran after executing prominent Shiite cleric Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr.
The execution has drawn widespread international condemnation from political and religious figures.
