Daesh Terrorists Behead Children, Abduct Women in Eastern Afghanistan


KABUL (Tasnim) – Militants affiliated to the Daesh (ISIS or ISIL) terrorist group, in an attack on civilians in the eastern province of Nangarhar, beheaded a number of children and kidnapped several women, local authorities said on Saturday.

According to Tasnim dispatches, Nilofar Aziz, a member of the Nangarhar Provincial Council, said that Daesh terrorists attacked Kot district in Nangarhar and killed a number of locals.

She added that when the Daesh members tried to abduct women, local residents and police forces clashed with them, killing 21 militants and injuring 23 others.

In the clashes, 10 security forces were also killed, the Afghan official said, adding that the number of beheaded children and abducted women is not clear yet.

Daesh has been committing heinous crimes against all ethnic and religious groups, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Izadi Kurds and others in Iraq, Syria and several other countries.

The Takfiri terrorist group claims as an independent state the territory of Iraq and Syria, with implied future claims intended over more of the Levant, including Lebanon, occupied Palestine, Jordan, Cyprus, and Southern Turkey.
