Iran’s Sanat Naft Signs Korean Kim Gwi-hyeon


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian football club Sanat Naft Abadan completed the signing of South Korean midfielder Kim Gwi-hyeon.

The 26-year-old player has joined Abadan based club on a one-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

He is the first South Korean football player who joins an Iranian club.

Kim Gwi-hyeon has also played at Argentinian club Velez Sarsfield, and South Korean Daegu and Gyeongju Citizen.

Sanat Naft Abadan secured promotion to the Iran Professional League (IPL) in May.

The team will open the IPL new season with a match against Saba in Abadan.
