Man Killed, another Injured in Annapolis Shooting

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - One man was killed and another injured in a shooting on Clay Street in Annapolis on Saturday night, police said.

Scotty Moss Jr., 24, of Annapolis died from gunshot injuries, police said.

He is the city's 10th homicide victim of the year. Annapolis has had more homicides in 2016 than any year in its recorded history.

Officers responded to the unit block of Clay Street at 10:24 p.m. for multiple reports of shots fired, police said, and found two shooting victims in the area.

A 34-year-old man from Glen Burnie suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting, police said. He was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

The Clay Street area has been home to several reports of shots fired this year, The Baltimore Sun‎ reported.

In September, Walter "Buck" Bryan Jr. died after he was shot outside his home on Pleasant Street, near where the road intersects with Clay Street.
