Iranian Greco-Roman Wrestling Clubs to Travel to Hungary Tuesday


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian teams Bimeh Razi and Sina Sanat Izeh will travel to Hungary on Tuesday to take part in the third annual Greco-Roman World Wrestling Club Cup.

The competition will be held in Budapest on December 8-9.

The last two editions were held in the Iranian cities of Abadan and Khoramshahr.  Pastor Andimeshk and Bimeh Razi won the previous competitions, respectively.

World Wrestling Clubs Cup is an international wrestling competition among teams representing member nations of the United World Wrestling (UWW), the sport's global governing body.

The tournament was founded in 2014 at the suggestion of the Islamic Republic of Iran Wrestling Federation, with the first edition held in Iran.
