Iranian President to Visit Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan Soon
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is planned to go on a regional tour in coming days, paying official visits to Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Speaking to Tasnim News Agency, the deputy head for communications and information at the Iranian president’s office, Parviz Esmaeili, said President Rouhani and his entourage will travel to the Republic of Armenia on Wednesday at the official invitation of the Caucasian country’s president.
In his one-day visit to Yerevan, Rouhani will hold talks with his Armenian counterpart on various issues, including ways to further deepen bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries, he said.
Esmaeili added that during the trip, several cooperation agreements will be signed by high-ranking Iranian and Armenian officials.
He went on to say that President Rouhani will leave Armenia for the Kazakh capital of Astana.
According to the official, the Iranian chief executive will visit the Kyrgyz capital of Bishkek on the last leg of his tour.
