Iran’s Sanat Naft Sacked Coach Nader Dastneshan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Nader Dastneshan has been sacked as head coach of Iran's Sanat Naft Abadan on Wednesday.
According to local media reports, Dastneshan had problems with the Iranian club’s board of directors.
“I am sacked but I have a lot to say. I will talk about that later not now,” Dastneshan said.
Under tutelage of Dastneshan, Sanat Naft won a promotion to Iran Professional League (IPL) this season.
The team is 11th in IPL table with 16 points from 15 games.
Former Pas and Esteghlal coach Firooz Karimi is a candidate to replace Dastneshan in Abadan-based football team.
