Iran Drawn with S. Korea at Asian Women's Handball Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian national handball team has learned its rivals at the 16th edition of the Asian Women's Handball Championship.
The competition will be held in Suwon, South Korean from March 11 to 22.
Iran has been drawn in Group A along with host South Korea, China and the Maldives.
Group B consists of Japan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Hong Kong and Vietnam.
The Asian Handball Nations Championship is the official competition for senior national handball teams of Asia and takes place every two years.
In addition to crowning the Asian champions, the tournament also serves as a qualifying tournament for the World Championship.
