USA Bars Iranian Archers from World Cup: Official
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - President of Iran Archery Federation Mohammadali Shojaei announced that the country’s archery team has been barred from competing in the World Cup in USA.
According to the official, the travel has been cancelled due to President Donald Trump's executive order forbidding visas for Iranians.
“Our archers’ visas have not been issued so far and the Iranian team will not participate at the World Cup,” Shojaei said.
A World Cup archery event is scheduled for Las Vegas on February 10.
