Giti Pasand Comes 2nd at AFC Futsal Club Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Giti Pasand lost to Bluewave Chonburi of Thailand in the final match of the AFC Futsal Club Championship Vietnam 2017 on Sunday.
Suphawut Thueanklang made a hat-trick for Chonburi while Ahmad Esmaeilpour and Aliasghar Hassanzadeh scored for the Iranian team.
Earlier in the day, Vietnamese Thai Son Nam Futsal Club earned an emphatic 6-1 victory over Qatar’s Al Rayyan in the third-placed match.
The 2017 AFC Futsal Club Championship was the 8th edition of the AFC Futsal Club Championship, the annual Asian futsal club championship organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
The tournament was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from July 20 to 30.
