Saudi Jets Continue Pounding Yemen


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Saudi warplanes carried out new airstrikes against several areas across Yemen, inflicting more human loss and material damage on the country.

In northern province of Jizan, the Saudi Apache helicopters fired 16 missiles on Qamar and Qwa villages and the warplanes conducted an airstrike on Jarah valley, Yemen's official Saba News Agency reported.

In northeastern province of Najran, the Saudi warplanes launched four airstrikes on al-Shabakah site, the  report said.

In the meantime, a military official told Yemen’s Saba News Agency that the Saudi warplanes conducted ten airstrikes at Qayfa area in northern province of al-Bayda and four airstrikes on al-Jabanh area in Hodeidah province.

Also, in northwestern province of Sa’ada, the Saudi warplanes launched artillery attacks on Talan area in Haidan district and al-Ghor area in al-Ghamr border district, while the warplanes targeted al-Dhaher district two times, the official said.

Meanwhile, a citizen was killed after explosion of a cluster bomb remained from the Saudi attacks on al-Moutton district in Jawf province, the official added.

In another development, the Saudi warplanes launched an attack on Maswarah area in Nehm district in the capital, Sana'a and launched three attacks on al-Marzwq area on Haradh district in Hajjah province.

Also, the Saudi warships fired 17 rockets at al-Omari schools in Dhubab district in Taiz province.

Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition for more than two and half years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.

Over 12,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.
