Friendly: Iran Youth Futsal Downs Ukraine
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran youth futsal team crashed Ukraine 6-1 in a friendly match in Tehran’s Handball Hall on Wednesday.
The Iranian team, headed by Ali Sanei, had defeated Ukraine 5-1 on Tuesday.
These two friendlies were part of preparations for the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina in October.
The futsal competition will take place at the La Rural and the Parque Polideportivo Roca, both located in Buenos Aires.
There are two tournaments, one for boys and one for girls.
The boys’ event will gather 10 teams together.
