Cichello Steps Down As Iran U-23 Volleyball Coach

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Juan Manuel Cichello has stepped down as Iran men's national under-23 volleyball team coach on Thursday.

The Argentine, who was assistant of Julio Velasco and Raul Lozano in Iran national volleyball team, was named as Iran U-23 coach in February 2017.

The 43-year-old coach has been appointed as head coach of Italian club Emma Villas Volley.

Cichello has announced his retirement by a letter sent to president of Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (IRIVF) Ahmad Ziaei.

He was supposed to negotiate with the federation for his condition to continue cooperation but parted company with the Iranian team.
