Yemeni Snipers Hunt Down 7 Saudi Soldiers in Jizan


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Seven Saudi soldiers were killed in Jizan after Yemeni snipers launched a retaliatory against them in the southwestern border region.

The army and popular forces killed seven Saudi soldiers and in Jizan region on Thursday, a military official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Saba news agency.

The seven Saudi soldiers were killed in north and south of al-Ma'ayen valley, while a 14.5 caliber machinegun was destroyed in the same area, according to the official.

Meanwhile, the Arab country’s artillery unit bombed gatherings of Saudi troops and their mercenaries in Abu al-Madh camp, north of the northern Mabkhara, Burj al-Mahdaf site, and the northern Shabaka of Jahfan Mountain.

Dozens of them were killed and injured in the raids. 

Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition for more than three years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.
