Iran to Face India at Asian Boys' U-18 Volleyball C’ship Quarters
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Sri Lanka 3-0 (25–21, 25–17, 25– 13) at the 2018 Asian Boys' U-18 Volleyball Championship at Poursharifi Gymnasium in Tabriz on Tuesday.
Mohammad vakili’s boys will face India on Wednesday in the competition’s quarter-final.
Iran started the Asian Men’s U-18 Volleyball Championship with a 3-1 win over Thailand on Friday but lost to Chinese Taipei 3-0 in its second match.
The 12th Asian Men’s U-18 Volleyball Championship serves as the Asian qualification tournament for the 2019 FIVB Men’s U-19 Volleyball World Championship.
Only top four teams will secure their berths for the next year’s world meet in Egypt.
