Iran’s Beiranvand Linked with Dynamo Kiev: Report

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran national football team and Persepolis goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand has been reportedly linked with a move to Ukrainian club side Dynamo Kiev.

Beiranvand, whose contract with Persepolis runs until 2021, will weigh up the Ukrainian club’s offer, the Iranian media reported.

Beiranvand represented Iran in three matches in the 2018 World Cup and blocked a penalty kick from Cristiano Ronaldo to deny Portugal a 2-0 lead in Group B.

Persepolis General Manager Hamid Reza Garshasbi has said Beiranvand will not leave the team.

Beiranvand had been earlier linked with a move to the professional Turkish football club Caykur Rizespor Kulubu in the country’s Super Lig.
