TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Syrian Army Forces patrolling while clearing the streets of town of Al-Hamidiya in the Quneitra province that was newly-liberated after 4 years.

The Syrian Army forces in the Al-Quneitra province entered the provincial capital after the militants left the city this week.

The Syrian Army has already moved their forces to the border of the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, where they set up new posts along the demilitarized zone in this region.

A Syrian commander said this week that the army's victory in southwestern Syria forced Israel to accept the Syrian army's return to the old 1974 armistice lines.

"The Israelis has been forced into submission ... the file of the south has ended in favor of the Syrian army," the commander was quoted as saying by Reuters, adding that he expected Quneitra would be completely recaptured in the coming days.
