TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A senior spokesman for the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces announced that 15 people, including a child, have been killed in the Saturday terrorist attack on a military ceremony in the southwestern city of Ahvaz.

He added that so far, 15 people, including a child, have been martyred in the terrorist attack.

The spokesman also said because some of the wounded are in critical condition, the death toll is not final.

The remarks came as some media reports said at least 24 people have been killed in the terror attack.

During the military parade in Ahvaz which was staged concurrently with nationwide military parades on Saturday to mark the Sacred Defense Week, Takfiri militants opened fire at the people participating in the ceremony.
