Asian Para Games: Ahmadi Takes Gold at Shot Put
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mohammaddreza Ahmadi won a gold medal at the Men's Shot Put F33 of the 2018 Asian Para Games on Tuesday.
The athlete won the gold medal with a throw of 9.92m.
Hani Alnakhli from Saudi Arabia won the silver medal with 9.37 and Iran’s Mehdi Alizadeh claimed the bronze medal with 9.34.
About 3,000 athletes with disabilities from a record 43 countries and territories are taking part in the games that opened in the Indonesian capital on Saturday.
The Asian Para Games will run through October 13.
