Takfiri Terrorists’ Attack in Hama Repelled by Syrian Army


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Syria’s army and its allies repelled a major attack by Takfiri militants in al-Hamamiyat town in Maharda region of Hama province, inflicting major losses on them.

SANA reported from Hama Province that the army unit returned fire at the enemies who were trying to infiltrate their positions, killing or injuring scores of them.

The report added that the army units positioned in al-Zallaqiyat town, in the northern Maharda also destroyed missile launch pads of terrorists from the so-called “al-Izzah Brigades” in Lataminah, about 35 km northwest of Hama city.

The army troops positioned in Talet Bazamn north of Hama retuned heavy fire when terrorist attacked the areas under demilitarized zone agreement in the region by launching mortar and shells on military positions, inflicting losses upon terrorists.

Army forces also carried out artillery strikes on the positions of terrorists from the so-called “Turkistan Party” in the surrounding areas of Badama and al-Najiya villages in the southwestern Idleb, in retaliation to their attacks earlier this day.
