A New War to Wipe Out Israel: IRGC General

Addressing a conference in the city of Mashhad on Thursday, Brigadier General Hossein Salami said a “strategic capacity” has been well shaped for the death of the illegitimate regime of Israel.

Israelis have been carrying desperate tactical operations to upset the strategic balance against the regime and to overcome their fear, the general noted, stressing that Israel faces a great danger.

“We warn them (Zionists) that if a new war breaks out, it will result in their termination,” he added.

Iran has warned the Zionist regime not to play with fire, because they will have been destroyed before the US helps them, General Salami stated, adding that an outbreak of fighting on the ground will result in Israel’s defeat within three days, in a way that they will not find enough graves to bury their dead.

“Any perception of the beginning of an operation they (Israel) may have, will have a different ending, and a limited invasion will not result in a limited war,” General Salami underlined.

On Tuesday, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri said the enemies know well that they would receive a devastating response from Iran in case of military action against the country.

In comments in April 2018, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said the US is aware of the crushing response it will have to face in case of taking military action against Iran.

The era of hit and run is now over, and the US knows that if it gets entangled in military action against Iran, it will receive much harsher blows, Ayatollah Khamenei underlined.

The US is seeking a way to evade the costs of standing against Iran and place them on regional countries, the Leader noted, reminding certain regional countries that if they confront Iran, “they will definitely suffer blows and defeat.”
