Terrorists’ Positions Demolished by Syrian Army North of Hama

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Syrian army force, in a retaliatory attack, demolished terrorists’ fortified positions full of heavy weapons and mortar launchers groups in the towns of al-Latamina and Kafr Zita in northern countryside of Hama province.

Syrian Arab News Agency reported from Hama that army units shelled positions of terrorists near towns of al-Latamina and Kafr Zita, where they deposited mortar launchers, rocket launch pads and other sorts of heavy weaponry to use them against civilian targets in the neighboring villages of the province.

Terrorist groups positioned in al-Latamina town on Saturday morning fired rocket shells on residential neighborhoods in Mharda city in the northwestern countryside less than 24 hours after attacking Salhab city, destroying people’s homs.

The northern Hama area is adjacent to the province of Idlib, where there are large concentrations of Takfiri militants.

Idlib and some surrounding areas are the last major bastions of Takfiri terrorists and anti-government militants in Syria, where the Syrian government has in recent months retaken much of the territory it had lost since the conflict erupted in the country in 2011.
